Terms of Service
Last updated: 13 October 2026
These terms govern the use of PAYWISE (the website, dashboard, app and API) by merchants, their team members and sales partners. Please read them before creating an account.
1. What PAYWISE is
PAYWISE is payment technology: it lets a business accept QRIS payments in rupiah and USDT payments on the BNB Smart Chain (BEP20), follow each payment to its final status and withdraw the proceeds of the payments it has received.
Payments are processed through licensed payment partners. PAYWISE records each payment, confirms it with the partner before it counts as paid, and pays out what a merchant is owed to the bank account or wallet the merchant gives.
2. Your account
You must give correct information about yourself and your business and keep it up to date. You are responsible for everything done with your account, your team members' accounts and your API keys.
Keep your password, email codes and API keys secret. Tell us at once through Support if you think someone else has used them. PAYWISE never asks for your password or email codes.
You must be allowed to enter into this agreement for your business, and your business must operate lawfully in the countries where it sells.
3. What you may not use PAYWISE for
You may not use PAYWISE for:
- Fraud of any kind, including scams, phishing, identity theft, misuse of data, or any other activity intended to deceive, to obtain an unlawful benefit, or to harm others.
- Money laundering, terrorist financing, or selling goods and services that are against the law.
- Collecting payments for another business without our written approval, disguising the goods or services actually sold, or splitting transactions to get around transaction or account limits.
- Trying to break, overload or get around PAYWISE's security, including the API's rate limits.
4. Payments, refunds and disputes
A payment is final once it is marked paid. QRIS and USDT payments cannot be reversed by PAYWISE. Refunds to your customers are your responsibility and are made by you, outside PAYWISE.
You handle your customers' questions and complaints about your goods and services. If a payment partner, bank or authority raises a dispute about a payment, you will help us answer it.
Test (sandbox) payments are never real money and are never paid out.
5. Fees
PAYWISE charges the transaction fee and the withdrawal fee on the Pricing page, or a custom fee set for your account. The fee that applies is always shown in your dashboard at the time of each payment or withdrawal. The fee on a payment is recorded when it is paid and does not change afterwards.
We may change fees for the future, with or without prior notice.
6. Settlement and withdrawals
Paid QRIS payments become available for withdrawal in the settlement batch shown in your dashboard; USDT payments when they are confirmed. You request a withdrawal to your own bank account (rupiah) or BEP20 wallet (USDT), within the limits shown.
You are responsible for giving correct destination details. Money sent to details you gave cannot be recovered by PAYWISE.
PAYWISE may hold a withdrawal while a payment, dispute or suspected breach of these terms is checked, and may pause withdrawals temporarily during maintenance or when a bank or partner has problems. The reason is shown in your dashboard or through Support.
7. The API
API keys are for your own systems. You must keep them secret, verify webhook signatures, and not rely on anything a customer can change (such as a return link) to decide that a payment is paid.
We may change the API; we will announce changes that could break an integration in advance in the documentation or dashboard.
8. Suspension and closing an account
We may suspend or close your account, or hold withdrawals, if:
- The law, an authority or a payment partner requires it.
- We reasonably suspect fraud or a breach of these terms.
- It is needed to protect customers, other merchants or PAYWISE.
- The account is inactive, for example no transactions or no sign-in by the owner for 7 days.
A suspension can be temporary (customer payments can still be received, but sign-in and withdrawals are stopped) or total (all services are stopped). Payments created before the suspension are still completed if the customer pays them.
Where the law allows, we will tell the account owner the reason by email. You can ask questions or appeal through a support ticket.
If it is proven that you breached these terms, including the prohibited uses in section 3, we may refuse to pay out the money connected to that breach. We may hold that money, use it to cover losses, fines or costs that result, return it to the payers, or hand it to the authorities where the law requires.
You may stop using PAYWISE at any time. Money you are owed that is not connected to a breach is paid out once any open payments, withdrawals and disputes are settled. Records we must keep by law are kept after the account is closed.
9. Liability
PAYWISE is provided with reasonable care and skill, but payment networks, banks, blockchains and partners can be interrupted. We are not liable for losses caused by events outside our reasonable control, by incorrect information you gave, or by the misuse of your credentials.
To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid PAYWISE in the three months before the event that caused it.
You must make good any losses, fines and costs charged to PAYWISE by payment partners, banks, authorities or others as a result of a breach of these terms by you, your team members, or use of your API keys.
10. Changes and governing law
We may update these terms at any time, with or without prior notice. Changes apply from the date shown at the top of this page. Continuing to use PAYWISE after that means you accept them.
These terms are governed by the applicable law. Disputes are first resolved through good-faith discussion; if no agreement is reached, they are settled by the competent dispute resolution body under the applicable law.
